I like to adapt the IELTS exercises to each students interests or work so there can be an added benefit.

As an IELTS examiner and teacher for the British Council I learnt to train my students in examination technique as well as competency in English.

There is a wealth of free online support. I will help you find the best for you. Then each person has a unique set of skills and competencies and I will work with you one to one to find the areas that lower your grade and give personal feedback to ensure you excel.

English for Medical Purposes

As well as an accurate usage of medical terminology, practitioners need the confidence to write reports clear simple International English avoiding unnecessary grammatical constructions.

We can practice, for example, summarising the key points of the patients’ report of signs and symptoms to check that the digital record accurately summarises the patients’ words.
